Happy thought for today

http://www.888dag.com/
At work today, I have received an email from a colleague who works in a similar position at another school. It simply says:

If I think I am happy, I’m happy!

This is a simple email but yet powerful. Why? I decided to forwarded this to all of my colleagues at the school. Within half a hour, I have a group of smiling staff in the staff room thanking me as soon as I walked in.

Go on, try it. I dare you.

The life of working mothers....

http://www.888dag.com/
Working mothers out there... my hats goes off to you all. Now that I have been working for nearly 8 weeks, I discovered the joys and challenges of being a working mum. Fortunately for me, Master T is thriving on being looked after by his daddy. And daddy JJ is loving it being a rad dad. I works with many other working mothers and they complain about coming home to numerous loads of washing, dirty dishes, mess everywhere and children who are sick because of a bug that is going around in their childcare or school. I count my lucky stars when I come home because Master T is always has a big smile for his mummy. So this video is dedicated to all those working mothers out there.

Cannot wait until Mr.T turns 8 years, 8 months and 8 days so I can do this!

My curly hat goes off to all those working mothers out there!

Last week, I returned to work after taking 8ish months maternity leave. It was a great feeling to be back doing what I love - teaching but at the same time, hard as I miss my darling boy who is now 8 months old. It was also a role reversal for daddy and mummy. Daddy seems to be thriving on being a stay home dad and Mr. T is loving it. So all is good. I am in awe of those working mothers as I know that I am one of the fortunate few who comes home and get to spend at least 4 hours with Mr. T before he goes to bed as my job is not the typical 8 hours job. Also Daddy JJ is a domestic god! Lucky lucky lucky lucky lucky lucky lucky lucky moi.

Broken.... no longer feel broken

A few weeks ago, when we moved into our beautiful new abode at Paddington, we were very sad to see some of our beautiful crockey and precious items broken into pieces. After some thoughts, I have decided to make something beautiful using these broken pieces. We are in need of an outdoor table so I will make a outdoor mosaic table. Keep posted for pictures!

Words of wisdom from Herminelee

Hi everyone!

Isn't this a wonderful world? A world where we can communicate and touch base with family and friends from one side of the Earth to another. A world where there are kindness, honesty, fun, joy, laughther and beautiful people. A world that celebrates and respects uniqueness, innovation and brillance. But most of all, this is a world that promotes us being us and you being you.

Be yourself!
